Klipsch Promedia 5.1 THX or ULTRA Repair Service
Handling/shipping time is only so long, so I do not get punished by eBay if I do not ship the item in time (in this case the repaired amplifier).
It happened in the past that customers delayed shipping their amplifer to me by weeks, so of course I was not able to repair it in the time frame given by ebay and got a “late shipping” punishment.
So no worries. The work will be done withing 5 business days once your amplifer arrives at my shop!
This auction is for a Klipsch Amplifier repair service
including
a cooling upgrade with a 92mm fan.
The fan is powered by an additional board embedded into the original Klipsch PSU so it does not affect or drain any current from the Klipsch PSU or interferes with its functionality. Even better: the location the of the power supply for the fan upgrade is on purpose directly under the fan located. This way it benefits also from the installed fan.

So far I repaired over 600 5.1 THX/ULTRA units in a 4 years span and know these units and typical issues/weak spots very well.
Handling of the repair:
All you have to do is simply remove your 5.1 ULTRA or THX amplifier from your subwoofer enclosure and send it to me.
Please do not ship your entire subwoofer box!
Upon arrival I will determine the defect of the device and repair it.
Additionally to what was defective, I will replace several semiconductors that are prone to fail. They will be replaced with higher quality, USA sourced equivalents.
The repair cost for this service is $199.99 flat & shipping fee back to you (calculated by eBay shipping … depends on your location).
The repair and price is guaranteed. This means I guarantee that I WILL repair your unit and there will be NO HIDDEN COSTS.
You will never be charged a dime more unless the unit has defects from previously botched repair attempts which results in more work for me!
Cooling Upgrade
Cooling upgrade with a high-quality, liquid bearing “Arctic Cooling” fan.
The Fan is electrically throttled down to deliver the best balance between cooling and noise production. In fact it is actually noiseless.
I also only use only high strength, high temperature indu
strial silicone adhesive to replace the inferior factory glue (for example on the 3 little fins on top of the IO-board.
